Coldplay are on the free download bandwagon...but not as committed as Radiohead where. They're giving away the song 'Violet Hill' from their website; actually a pretty decent song as well.
How is giving away one song anything like Radiohead? Bands have been giving away single songs since the early 00's - it's not even a step above myspace.
Did you say Myspace ????? :) I see your point, but we're talking about largish bands here. Radiohead, Pumpkins, NIN, Coldplay and I think Offspring are a wee bit bigger than your average Myspace band. As for whether or not they're like Radiohead, like I said, not as commited :)
