New Year List 2005

Wish I’d done this last year so that I could actually see what I completed and what I didn’t, what took preference over what and why. So what are my plans for the coming 12 months. No one can predict the future, no matter how hard they try convincing you otherwise, however this is what I’d like to do in the next 12 months. Some things I have power over, other things I really have no power over at all.

1. Complete Version 2.0 of Broken Kode.
2. Learn Blender as well as I know Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
3. Complete the full Script of ‘Sublime’
4. Sort out the plethora of mini-projects I’ve promised people (alfonso’s logo, Franchesco’s website design, Arup Basketball Blog, etc)
5. Continue to improve drawing skills via the Hogarth set of books.
6. Complete at least 30 finished pages of the book, and have the layouts for another 50 pages at least.
7. Get Emmortel.com online.
8. Send out my pdf portfolio for iliosnare out and about.
9. Complete at least 1 illustration every 2 weeks.
10. Complete Manji development for 1.2 and tweaks for hidden bugs.
11. Begin and complete ‘Shuttle’.
12. Start my limited edition prints store.
13. Design my second font.
14. Make more use out of London and visit all the good museums.
15. Find myself a nice Lebanese girl (preferably having lived outside Lebanon most of her life, preferably in England somewhere, preferably one that doesn’t bore me, hmm probably not going to happen).
16. Sort out my first animation.
17. Do more Graphic Novel Reviews.

It will be interesting to revisit this list in the coming months and see how much I’ve actually progressed. I’ve now got a battle plan, it’s in writing, so I guess it’s time to put up or shut up.
